One of the highlight, is the return of polo superstar Juan Martin Nero, who has taken home the trophy back in 2004, now joining the other prestigious players to compete in this year’s tournament in the Cartier team, which will captain by 21-year-old Grant Ganzi, rated as one of the best youth players in the USA, who will make his debut in St. Moritz this time with local hero player Tito Gaudenzi.
Furthermore, as mentioned it’s a world cup tournament, of course, gathering some top snow polo players around the world is essential, succeeding the game last year, team Azerbaijan Land of Fire will repeat the teaming up of Elchin Jamalli and Tarlan Gurbanaliyev, whom both are from Azerbaijan, with the Argentine cousins Lala and Adrian Laplacette Jr. While for Badrutt’s Palace Hotel team, captain Melissa Ganzi will be leading a strong team with experienced top player Alejandro Novillo Estrada from Argentina.
