Winter sports with style - Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz 2020

Fireworks and bubblies, glittering celebrations and glamorous soirées, these are the scenario that we all see during countdown parties when welcoming the new year, at the same time, such celebrating moment also reminds me of something else, it is the victorious moment of the post-game celebration in St. Moritz! If you all know what I am talking about, yes, it is one of my favorite elite winter tournament, the Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz.

As the 36th tournament in year 2020, the Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz is going to give the audience and its loyal fans a refreshing surprise this year, which is, the new sponsor, de Grisogono, joins ranks of the three pre-existing teams including Badrutt’s Palace, Azerbaijan Land of Fire, and Maserati, which adds much of luxurious sparks and glamour into the upcoming game, giving the audience another incredible and breath-taking tournament experience than last year.

Of course, all eyes are focused on the heroic polo players, and see which team and who will be taking the trophy home this time, for Team de Grisogono, the team will be co-captained by Zhanna Bandruko and Valery Mischchenko, both are hailed from Russia, and they will be playing with two of Europe’s foremost polo players Robert Strom and Max Charlton. For Team Azerbaijan Land of Fire, the team will be captained by Elcin Jamalli, who is from Azerbaijan; and for Team Badrutt’s Palace, the highlight lands to last year’s winner Melissa Ganzi hails from the USA, who also is the first woman ever to win the Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz! I believe the audience are expecting to see another incredible performance from her this time! Last but not least, for Team Maserati, which will be captained by Kutlay Yaprak, the ambitious player has picked the Argentine polo ace Adrian Laplacette Jr., and the promising Swiss junior player Fabio Meier to join forces with him.

With such impeccable player combination, the luxurious resort ambient and the snowy-white winter picturesque scene deep in the Engadine valley, who can resist this once-a-year experience that mixed with excitement, style, glamour and elite lifestyle all in one in this luxurious Swiss resort destination?

P.S. the tournament starts from 24th to 26th January 2020, don’t forget to get the ticket in advance. As ever, admission to the tournament grounds is free to the public
