The chic sail - Sanlorenzo SX76 luxury yacht

Even though the sailing season is not yet started, but for some reason, my desire of getting closer to the ocean is pretty intense, perhaps it’s the brand new fragrance that I ordered and just arrived from Monaco, which brings along the oceanic note from southern France, or, a recent invitation to a luxury super yacht’s Asia premiere that reminds me of the stylish nautical flair in Southern France which I visited 2 years ago; anyway, having a personal experience to be toured around inside the Sanlorenzo SX76 luxury yacht during their recent Sanlorenzo Open Weekend event, it has been one of the most refreshing experience, as a prelude of nautical style before the sailing season officially starts in summer.

On the occasion of the brand’s 60th anniversary, Sanlorenzo unveiled this new luxury yacht model, which has been officially presented at Cannes Yachting Festival 2018. The brand new SX76 super yacht is literally the work-of-art, a seamless collaboration of Sanlorenzo with companies that represents excellence in international design. A spacious and luxurious appeal with its length at 23.35m, the beauty of the yacht is expressed from the inside out, thanks to the world class interior design by Piero Lissoni, and, the high tech exterior lines by Zuccon studio, one can instantly feel the luxe modernity and comfort once entering the yacht.

A warm and welcoming interior décor, as the combination of elegance and simplicity with the intelligent use of soft and neutral colors, the main ‘living room’ area is exceptionally chic, unlike being in any kind of yacht, for SX76, the entire space inside is like being in a modern luxury duplex apartment; the pure white spiral-like staircase, which connects the access through the entire yacht, dominates the living room like a spectacular, artistic large white marble sculpture, a harmonious blend with the rest of the furnishings inside, no matter it’s the minimalistic and stylish kitchen area behind, or the exceptionally wide screen windows on both sides of the space, this area has been such a good place to rest and mingle with guests on board in a very relaxing and stylish way.

Proceed down to the guest cabins and master bedroom, one can literally realize how a nautical luxe experience should feel like. All stylishly furnished with a neutral and minimalistic atmosphere, each cabin equipped with its very own bathroom, with a modern and clean-line designed interior, lighting system and furnishing, which gives one the ultimate luxury and relaxation without the hassle of sharing bathroom with others. Spacious master bedroom equipped with the tip-top furniture and lighting system again, the high celling which enables ones to wake up in a good shape from the bed, I guess that’s one of the elements that appeals me the most.

Going up to the flybridge on the upper deck, to experience another spaciousness - outdoor spaciousness, with a flexible space which enables you and your guest to connect with the sun above in a more private zone, at the same time, enjoying the motion of the tide and the deep blue from the sea.

Afterall, one doesn’t need to wait for the sailing season to feel the nautical chic, you can simply do it anytime, anywhere, as long as being in a modern and beautiful super yacht, with a glass of champagne, and couple of good friends around.
